Solving risk
from the inside out
with the right people, insights and capabilities to unlock capital with confidence
Industries that move
the world operate
under pressure
As critical resources become harder to access, heavily engineered industries are forced to take on more risk. But without a clear view of that risk, capital decisions slow down or stall.
Purpose
Making risk work for those who move the world by ensuring engineering experts and financial decision-makers share a unified view of risk to drive capital allocation.
Vision
To create a world where risk is no longer debated, but quantified by providing a single source of truth that connects engineering experts, financial leaders and capital providers.
Mission
Transforming engineering complexities into quantifiable intelligence and risk-financing solutions.

Values that drive us
Values that drive us
Creative to solve
the complex
We go beyond the obvious, questioning assumptions and solving complex challenges with intelligence, never with a cookie-cutter approach.
Bold,
yet practical
We push boundaries and challenge outdated thinking, but never at the expense of practicality. Every solution must work in the real world.
Independent
and unbiased
We serve only our clients with no conflicts, no hidden agendas and no external influence.
Hyper-responsive
We don’t just respond, we own the problem, move fast and get things done with precision and urgency.
Collaborative
inside-out
We break silos by connecting engineers, CFOs, risk owners and capital providers through shared network intelligence
for aligned decisions and a common risk understanding.
Shaped by
unique talent
We bring the right people to the problem, a team with deep expertise in engineering, finance and risk, built to solve what others can’t.
The story of
Ryerson Networks
In heavily engineered industries, risk is defined differently by engineers, financial professionals and capital providers. Ryerson Networks was founded to bridge that gap. We started by challenging outdated thinking in the insurance sector and empowering smaller players. We questioned the agency problem in the traditional advisory model where firms serve both capital providers and risk owners, which makes objective advice hard to deliver. So instead of standing outside, we stepped in. We embedded ourselves into our clients’ engineering and financing teams to deliver optimal risk solutions.
We broke silos, challenged assumptions and built solutions that hold technically, financially and politically. Today, we partner with complex industries such as mining, energy and agriculture to quantify risk, optimise financial strategy, strengthen captive performance and attract long-term capital.
2017

2018/19

2020/21

and expanded captive advisory across P&C lines and strategic
organisation design.
2022/23
Initiated mining-specific risk quantification with leading miners
and advisors alongside closure financing advisory to address
long-term liability risks.
2024
Established a local presence in Australia and launched the Mining Risk Inventory technology stack to model critical assets such as Tailings Storage Facilities.
2025
Set up operations
in the United States and expanded our organisational
design capabilities
to cover closure.
Ryerson Networks was founded to address the imbalance in the insurance industry, where scale and standardisation often take precedence over the unique needs of clients in heavily engineered industries. Our technology stack and advisory services help clients gain greater control over their risk financing strategies by unlocking risk insights from their own technical experts.
